This piece reflects a moment of emerging from the subconscious, referencing Carl Jung’s idea of water as the unconscious, with the fish representing a version of myself stepping out of it and into awareness. Covered in eyes, it holds a sense of awakening and self-awareness, carrying what it has seen and learned as it moves onto land, not fully formed, but evolving into a new way of being.
