A loose translation of a warning I once heard and immediately misunderstood. The tiger shows its teeth and I decide it’s charming, friendly even, projecting softness onto something that is clearly not soft. This piece sits somewhere between instinct and delusion, a reminder that perception says more about the observer than the thing being observed, and that sometimes the joke is realizing you were the only one laughing.
