I wasn't listening to anything when I painted this. At some point, I noticed I had been humming the whole time without realizing it. I felt like a conductor, orchestrating the painting and giving it life.

As an animator, I'm always trying to give life to things that only exist in structure. This is that. Sheet music, the way I actually experience it, not the way it looks on the page.
